1Raw Material Preparation

Silica sand, fly ash or other silica-rich materials are ground and mixed with water to prepare slurry. Cement, lime, gypsum and aluminum powder are stored and accurately measured.

2Automatic Batching

The control system weighs each material according to the production recipe, improving density control, strength consistency and operating stability.

3Mixing and Pouring

Measured materials are uniformly mixed and poured into moulds. Aluminum powder reacts in the mixture to form a uniform porous structure.

4Pre-curing

Filled moulds enter the pre-curing area, where controlled time and temperature help the slurry develop sufficient green-cake strength.

5Demoulding and Tilting

The green cake is rotated by 90 degrees, separated from the mould frame and transferred to the cutting line.

6Precision Cutting

The cake is cut to the required block or panel dimensions. Cutting waste can be returned to the slurry system.

7Autoclave Loading and Curing

Cut cakes are grouped on autoclave carts and cured under high-temperature saturated steam for strength and dimensional stability.

8Separation and Packaging

Finished products are separated, inspected, stacked and packaged before transfer to the storage yard and dispatch.

Utilities and Factory Requirements

Factory and Land

  • Raw-material storage and preparation
  • Batching, pouring, pre-curing and cutting workshops
  • Autoclave and packaging sections
  • Finished-product storage yard
  • Boiler room, laboratory, maintenance and spare-parts facilities

Electricity

Stable industrial electricity is required. Transformer capacity is determined by installed power, simultaneous operating load and local electrical standards.

Steam and Water

Boiler capacity depends on output, autoclave quantity, curing cycle and condensate recovery. Process water and cutting waste should be recycled whenever possible.

Workforce

Staffing depends on automation. Typical positions include supervisors, operators, laboratory staff, electrical and mechanical technicians, boiler operators and maintenance personnel.

Frequently Asked Questions

What raw materials can be used to produce AAC blocks?

Common materials include silica sand, fly ash, cement, lime, gypsum, aluminum powder and water. Industrial solid waste may also be considered after laboratory testing confirms its suitability.

How do I select the correct production capacity?

Consider local demand, available investment, raw-material supply, land, energy costs and product range. Huazhu can compare several capacity options before final selection.

Can one line manufacture both AAC blocks and panels?

Yes. A combined line can be designed, but panel production requires reinforcement preparation, mesh-frame assembly, anti-corrosion treatment and panel-handling equipment.

How much land is required?

A 50,000 m³/year plant may require about 15,000–25,000 m², while a 500,000 m³/year project may require about 60,000–90,000 m². The final area depends on layout and storage needs.

Which type of boiler can be used?

Natural gas, fuel oil, coal, biomass or electric steam systems may be considered based on fuel availability, regulations, operating costs and required steam capacity.

How long does it take to build an AAC plant?

The schedule depends on capacity, equipment configuration, civil works, shipping distance and local conditions. A detailed schedule is prepared after configuration and responsibilities are confirmed.

Do you provide plant layout and foundation drawings?

Yes. Equipment-layout drawings and related technical references can be provided after the production-line configuration is confirmed.

Can the line be customized for local raw materials?

Yes. Raw-material testing is recommended before finalizing the formula, equipment configuration and process parameters.

Do you provide overseas installation and commissioning?

Yes. Overseas installation guidance, commissioning and operator training can be arranged according to the contract and site conditions.

How can I receive an accurate quotation?

Send your country, annual capacity, raw materials, product sizes, automation requirements, land dimensions and available utilities. Our engineers will prepare a customized proposal.
